Public bug reported:
Attempted installation--ubuntu has been installed onto this computer a
variety of times but no matter what, it won't boot. Attempting to remedy
this, I redid the partitions on the drive in question in GParted (as
msdos instead of GPT) and then tried ti install again. The installation
went well until grub2 was being put onto the chosen partition (which was
around 680 MB and EFI) when the fatal error occurred.
