So we will just let it go? Or, somebody from mainline kernel team is looking 
into the matter?
This is ridiculous, what is the point of having a 5 year LTS which can't 
support the newest kernels that are necessary for newer hardware? In simple 
words, one cannot use Ubuntu LTS with new hardware. One needs to use the latest 
ubuntu OS which might be plagued with bugs and many other issues, and 
furthermore keep changing it every 6 months? I am dying to hear any sensible 
argument in favour of this.
