Public bug reported: On all kernel versions that I used before the 5.10.0-1029-oem the internal microphone of my Dell Precision 5750 worked perfectly. After the upgrade to 5.10.0-1029-oem the internal mic stopped working but I can still use an external mic. I couldn't enable the internal mic using pavucontrol and alsamixer.
P.S. Looks like there is the same issue with Dell XPS 9700 (which is no wonder): https://askubuntu.com/questions/1343942/dell-xps-17-9700 -internal-microphone-not-working lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS Release: 20.04 ** Affects: linux-oem-5.10 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1931744 Title: Dell Precision 5750: internal mic stopped working after kernel update to 5.10.0-1029-oem To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-oem-5.10/+bug/1931744/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
