The backtrace is not very useful, as you are lacking the debug symbols.

Please try the following:
1. Start gwenview manually using "gwenview --nocrashhandler"
2. Trigger the crash
3. Look into /var/crash
4. Is there a file starting with "_usr_bin_gwenview"? If so, start
/usr/share/apport/apport-qt (e.g. from "Run Command" (Alt-F2)).
5. Submit the crash report and report back what the new bug number is

Other methods are described at
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash

Is the crash reproducible with a certain picture? If so, can you attach it?
Which (K)Ubuntu version are you using?
