Thank you for this bug and improving Ubuntu in general.

This has been a long time in coming, but ubuntu-advantage-tools version
27.1 has released officially to Xenial 16.10  Bionic 18.04 Focal 20.04
and newer.

I've confirmed this fix is present and properly rejects enabling
livepatch on docker


% sudo docker run --rm -it --network host ubuntu:18.04
