Public bug reported:

My Elan Touchpad never worked on Ubuntu. I have an HP Pavilion laptop,
and I have dualbooted Ubuntu 20.04 and Windows 10. I can use my touchpad
to move the cursor around, but I can't click , right click or do
anything else. On top of that, If I touch my touchpad, my external mouse
faces the same issue until I switch to text mode (`Ctrl + Alt + F7`)
and then back to the GUI (`Ctrl + Alt + F2`). When I list the devices
connected to my system, it doesn't even show up. My touchpad works
perfectly fine on Windows.
