Using my ONLINE machine (which shows colorless shutter icons), I
uninstalled shutter and then ran "find / ..." both as me and
as root to find and delete every reference to shutter in the
system. I then installed shutter again -- same problem of
colorless shutter icons.

However, if I viewed my file list with the GNOME "Files" utility,
(GNOME v. 3.36.3-stable) or with Okular, the icons are colored.

So, I have a shutter problem of unknown origin. Do you have any idea
of how I might correct it?
