Hi William, Thanks for the followup. What I'm referring to is the new patch that is being added under debian/patches/, and that it is a common practice to explicitly mention which files have been added/removed/changed in the debian/changelog. So, in this case, a (suggested) changelog entry could be:
* d/p/0003-fix-protocol-unit-test-for-go-1.16.patch: Cherry pick minor upstream change that fixes a build failure with go 1.16 (LP: #1933678) I have also noticed that you didn't run update-maintainer. Could you please do this? Thanks in advance. :-) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1933678 Title: FTBFS with go 1.16 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/golang-github-aws-aws-sdk-go/+bug/1933678/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
