Hello, Thank you for filing this bug report. As I see: > I tried to install the Open Source Social Network and it > said there's some MySQL errors and conflicts?
After reading the logs, which say: > 2021-07-22T02:13:49.189938Z 0 [ERROR] [MY-010285] [Server] > Failure to parse RSA private key (file exists): > /var/lib/mysql//private_key.pem: error:0909006C:PEM > routines:get_name:no start line It looks like the public key file contents were replaced with the private key file contents or somehow the keys got messed up. Interestingly, there's a similar known report in upstream tracker: https://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=70115 Maybe you can manually recover the keys and restart the slaves and things should start to work again normally? I tried to reproduce but couldn't find a way to do that. So whilst I can think it's a local issue and I am marking as "Incomplete", if you believe that it's actually a bug in the package rather than a local problem, let us know why you think that and if possible, give us some steps to reproduce the issue. Once done, also set the status of the bug to "New" and we'll take a look at it again. For local configuration issues, you can find assistance here: http://www.ubuntu.com/support/community Thank you! ** Bug watch added: MySQL Bug System #70115 http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=70115 ** Changed in: mysql-8.0 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1937141 Title: package mysql-server-8.0 8.0.25-0ubuntu0.20.04.1 failed to install/upgrade: installed mysql-server-8.0 package post-installation script subprocess returned error exit status 1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mysql-8.0/+bug/1937141/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
