On a vanilla Ubuntu 21.04:

- Start Ubuntu xorg or wayland
- Install the Slack snap:
    sudo snap install slack --classic
- Open Slack from the Launcher
- Make sure no Firefox instance is running
- Click on a link in Slack

Instead of opening a new Firefox instance, the Firefox crash reporter
dialog shows up.
