Seems to be an issue with shim / the UEFI firmware on those machines. Could be a regression from the load option parsing, but confused as to how we end up trying to boot a non existing file instead of falling back.
Could also be memory corruption (shim pull #365). Need to mokutil --set-verbosity true and record the log during boot with a camera. ** Package changed: grub2 (Ubuntu) => shim (Ubuntu) ** Changed in: shim (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1937115 Title: Unable to boot/install Impish daily in UEFI boot mode To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/shim/+bug/1937115/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
