This bug report obviously refers to changing a setting in the version of
GNOME in use at the time this bug report was raised.
In a much more up-to-date version of gnome-control-center I see a switch
that has to be moved in 'Settings | Accessibility | Pointing and
Clicking' in order to enable 'Mouse Keys'. So not an easy option to turn
on.
Does this bug report have any relevance in any currently supported
release of Ubuntu bearing in mind that over 13 years have elapsed since
it was raised?
