My system is Kubuntu 7.10.I have change my monitor to a wide samsung
2232bw.The problem was that every time i login to the system the
resolution was 1280x1024.I reinstall nvidia driver,i set with sudo
nvidia settings to the correct resolution,i add xorg.conf
manual.Nothing..Every time i login the resolution was 1280x1024.The
strange think was that in the password screen the resolution look
correct!Finally i change the monitor in system settings to lcd panel
1680x1050(wide screen),i change nvidia setting to auto and now i have
wrong resolution to password screen but is ok in the system :P.
