Here is a patch applying the upstream fix for this issue.

A PPA with the proposed change is available at

Note that the bug does not affect Debian yet (Ubuntu version differs
from Debian version; and Debian does not ship GCC 11). Moreover, this
may possibly not affect Debian at all, depending on when a new Debian
package version is released (considering the fix is present in
upstream's development version).
