I experience similar problems here: * xubuntu 7.10, installed evolution , gnome-pilot and gnome-pilot-conduits * using a tungsten e2 on /tev/ttyUSB1 * Sync and Backup with pilot-xfer from comandline works perfectly
When using gnome-pilot, HotSync gets interrupted. I started gpilotd from the commandline: /usr/bin/gpilotd gpilotd-Message: gnome-pilot 2.0.15 starting... gpilotd-Message: compiled for pilot-link version 0.12.2 gpilotd-Message: compiled with [VFS] [USB] [IrDA] [Network] gpilotd-Message: Activating CORBA server gpilotd-Message: bonobo_activation_active_server_register = 0 gpilotd-Message: Tungsten E2 (/dev/ttyUSB1) wird betrachtet When backup conduit is activated, gnome-pilot crashes on getting PmTraceDatabase.pdb (gpilotd:24153): backupconduit-WARNING **: error (Unknown error) in opening 'PmTraceDatabase' (gpilotd:24153): gpilotd-WARNING **: Unable to open conduit! gpilotd-Message: Synchronisation beendet Sometimes I get a "core dumped" message an gpilotd dies. I noticed pilot-xfer is not getting this db, so I tried unsetting the Backup ATTR on the Pilot via filez, but that didnt help. Without backup conduit activated, everything seems to work. -- After sync palm says: HotSync operation was interrupted https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/81396 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
