Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: milter-greylist
The /etc/init.d/ script appears to complete successfully, but the daemon
exits immediately and the following log messages are produced:
Dec 19 17:10:32 titan milter-greylist: greylist: Unable to bind to port /var/run
/milter-greylist/milter-greylist.sock: No such file or directory
Dec 19 17:10:32 titan milter-greylist: greylist: Unable to create listening sock
et on conn /var/run/milter-greylist/milter-greylist.sock
As a workaround, I put the following in /etc/default/milter-greylist :
mkdir /var/run/milter-greylist/
chgrp greylist /var/run/milter-greylist/
chmod g+w /var/run/milter-greylist/
