Just curious if you could try installing 'linux-backports-modules' and
see if this helps resolve the issue?
Also, the Hardy Heron Alpha2 release will be coming out soon (around Dec
20). It will have an updated version of the kernel. It would be great
if you could test with this new release if this issue still exists as
well. I'll be sure to update this report when Alpha2 is available.
