Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better.
I used "nc -l 4007" to examine what the plugin was actually sending, and
I can confirm that the Host: header doesn't appear when testing
check_http on 20.04.
However, I'm not sure this is really a bug. check_http (on 20.04 at
least) has both -I and -H options. If I use "-I 127.0.0.1 -H
www.example.com" then the Host: header is set correctly. I haven't
looked to see what the specified behaviour should be in the case that -k
is used for headers that you'd expect the plugin to set itself directly.
Is there anything to say that this should work at all?
If you use "-I 127.0.0.1 -H www.example.com", then does that work for
you? If not, please could you explain your use case?
