Public bug reported:
This package currently FTBFS with Go >= 1.16. Both Debian and Ubuntu are
on version 2.0.4 of this package, while upstream it is on version 4. I
have tested v4 from the upstream and verified that it does build and the
tests succeed with go 1.16 and 1.17.
