Hi Dan,
There is a secondary layer of server-team triage to ensure we stay
aware of our bugs really well.
In that there are 60 and 180 day expiration periods depending on some
other factors we might ping
a bug to ensure it comes back up again.

This is related to the ubuntu server (bug) maintenance [1] and not
general launchpad expiry mechanims.
