Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu. 
Can you please answer these questions:
- Which version of the CD did you use (i.e. alpha-1 or daily)?
- As the CD image (ISO file) you downloaded could be corrupt, could you please 
visit [WWW] https://help.ubuntu.com/community/HowToMD5SUM follow the 
instructions and report back as to whether or not the MD5SUM verified? 
- If you have an older version of Ubuntu running on your system, can you 
provide information about your system by running the command "sudo lspci -vvnn 
> lspci-vvnn.log" and attach the resulting file "lspci-vvnn.log" to this bug 
report?

As the alpha-2 version will be released very soon, it would be helpful
if you also can add results with the alpha-2 release to this bug report.
