Hello Daniel, I can open a new bug (in fact I open one not so much ago but for time matters couldn't continue with it).
However, as I said, I am running Linux Mint as of now, with Kernel 5.4, and really I've got no intention of switching again right now. Can I report a bug for 5.11 kernel even though I am not running it? I wonder since last time other people helping asked me to upload run an aport-collect command to upload a file (I think), which wouldn't make much sense running a kernel version in which I don't have the screen flickering problem, would it? Anyway, this is the report I am talking about: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1940285 This is another report opened 3 days ago by another person which seems to be very similar to mine: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-signed-hwe-5.11/+bug/1943370 As I said earlier, tell me if I should report the bug, anyway, running Linux Mint now. My intentions are to stick with it for now unless 21.10 Ubuntu calls my attention (which is unlikely since I am sure the screen flickering will persist). Thanks beforehand. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1940780 Title: [HP EliteBook Folio G1] Screen keeps flickering on ubuntu 20.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-5.11/+bug/1940780/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
