(normally for this install I add a package or two to see they get re- installed; but didn't do that; I was trying to explore replace) ** Actual result It's still just sitting there, no feedback and been running for 15+ hours.. ** Comments I've been unable to see issue, only [24519.919619] sda: sda1 sda2 sda3 sda4 < sda5 > types of messages are filling the logs.. Given this exploration as looking at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ubiquity/+bug/1942603 maybe they are related?? Either way - I don't think this is a fixable issue; maybe a quirk in this box which is getting rather old..
