Hi.

I am sorry to ask this, but:
Has the solution already become available for "normal" users?
(If not, I can just wait a bit, no problem.)
What would I need to do to get it working on my system?

The reason why I am asking is that I have already updated my system just
now (apt-get update) and re-downloaded the ubuntu:21.10 image and my
duplicated bug as reported in https://bugs.launchpad.net/cloud-
images/+bug/1943293 still persists.

I am running Ubuntu 21.04 on my host system and use the ubuntu:21.10
container.

> sudo docker run --rm -it --entrypoint=/bin/bash "ubuntu:21.10"
# apt-get update && apt-get install -y curl
# curl https://www.bing.com
curl: (6) getaddrinfo() thread failed to start

Many thanks,
   Thomas.

P.S.: Argh, just now I see that under "affects", for "docker.io
(Ubuntu)", it just says "confirmed", not "fix released" ... that
explains it ^_^
