The touchpad connects to the i2c bus:
[ 3.671487] input: ASUE140A:00 04F3:3134 Mouse as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:15.1/i2c_designware.1/i2c-2/i2c-ASUE140A:00/0018:04F3:3134.0002/input/input30
[ 3.671554] input: ASUE140A:00 04F3:3134 Touchpad as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:15.1/i2c_designware.1/i2c-2/i2c-ASUE140A:00/0018:04F3:3134.0002/input/input31
[ 3.671595] input: ASUE140A:00 04F3:3134 Keyboard as
/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:15.1/i2c_designware.1/i2c-2/i2c-ASUE140A:00/0018:04F3:3134.0002/input/input32

So please do system suspend and resume, after that, the touchpad should
stop working, then please check dmesg, if there is any i2c error log?
