Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.
The bug description shows two errors: /var/lib/dpkg/info/mysql-server-8.0.postinst: linha 191: /usr/share/ mysql-common/configure-symlinks: Arquivo ou diretório inexistente dpkg: error processing package mysql-server-8.0 (--configure): MySQLConf.etc.mysql.my.cnf: Error: [Errno 40] Muitos níveis de links simbólicos: '/etc/mysql/my.cnf' The second may be a consequence of the first: as the configure-symlinks script is missing the system may have a bad/broken symlink setup. The configure-symlinks script is installed by the mysql-common package, which is a direct (pre-)dependency of mysql-server-8.0, so the script should really be there. It seems likely to me that this is a local configuration problem (configure-symlinks manually renamed/removed), rather than a bug in Ubuntu, so I'm marking this bug as Incomplete. If indeed this is a local configuration problem, you can find pointers to get help for this sort of problem here: https://ubuntu.com/support/community-support. If you still think this is a bug in Ubuntu then please comment back explaining your reasoning, possibly providing steps to reproduce from a fresh Ubuntu system, and we'll look at this again.
