Public bug reported:
Hallo,
the standby timer for HDDs is maybe a little bit broken.
It works fine if I set it to 8 minutes or less.
If I set it above 10 minutes the timer does not send the HDDs to standby any
more.
It's two Samsung Spinpoint HDDs, just for Data. No active programms.
I tested also 12, 15 and 20 minutes. Every thing about 10 minutes does not work.
Maybe you have already fixed it in a newer version, but I just wanted to tell
you this behavior.
I use gnome-disk-utility 3.36.3-0ubuntu1 on Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS Release: 20.04.
Its like this since installation, so I don't think that other software is
interfering the process. Thanks for your attention and your great work.
Kind regards
Chris
