With Debian maintainer hat on, I'm willing to have a limited amount of DEB_VENDOR conditionalization in the Debian packaging, like the way we used to compile xdg-desktop-portal with --disable-pipewire before pipewire was available in Ubuntu main.
However, I draw the line at applying Ubuntu-specific patches in Debian; if Ubuntu wants those, then branching the packaging will be necessary. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1943480 Title: flatpak installation permission requirements different from ubuntu software To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/flatpak/+bug/1943480/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
