I'm marking this bug report as Invalid, but please feel free to reopen
it with new ideas. The basic problem with the feature request is that
Adept Update and the system tray icon are actually two different
applications. The system tray icon is actually Adept Notifier, which
always runs in the background. It is not a full updater application. It
just periodically checks for updates and merely run Adept Updater when
the user clicks on the icon. So this would be quite difficult to
implement, without actually combining the two applications.
