Further testing seems to show that hibernating is actually corrupting my swap partition as once the system has booted back up after failing to resume from its hibernated state swap is not enabled. Any attempt to manually enable it results on the following message:
# swapon -a [74.904000] Unable to find swap-space signature swapon: /dev/sda5: Invalid argument I am forced to run mkswap on /dev/sda5 to get swap working again. This seems to happen every time I hibernate with the 2.6.24 kernel :( -- Sleep and Hibernate issues in Gutsy on Thinkpad x41 https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/134680 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
