What does the "Report problem..." button in the dialog do, then if I have to use command line to report the crash files?
I see "sudo nvidia-xconfig" generates some basic /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. Regardless, I noted the following: If I log out from the Xfce session back to the LightDM greeter the HDMI output is used, too. And if I thereafter log in back to my session, the HDMI output works there, too.
