I updated 20.40 to 21.10 this morning.
I added the linux-modules-extra-raspi so I can start docker, which needs the
veth module.
Now the desktop freezes. Attempted a full reboot - no changes.
I ssh'ed into the system and docker is running all restarted modules
(Prometheus, Grafana and AlertManager).
I tried a sudo service gdm3 restart and watched gnome restart. It freezes
after a few minutes.
Tried the restart again and same symptoms.
