Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cupsys

I have a Konica Minolta QMS 2350 Laser printing, connected via ethernet
with my laptop. I use the socket connection port 9100 to send my
documents to the printer. The printer is Postscript-enabled. I use the
vendor-supplied ppd to print with this printer.

Now, if I try to print a somehow larger document ( 30MB,+ Postscript
file) with multiple pages, the job stoppes or is restarted depending on
the cups configuration. The cups error log says:

E [20/Dec/2007:19:51:55 +0100] [Job 137] Unable to write print data:
Broken pipe

Doing the same with a dapper drake system, the printer works flawlessly.

** Affects: cupsys (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
