I am unable to reproduce this in either 7.10 or 8.04 (Hardy). I have
pressed the 'x' to close it to the task bar without any issues, and I
have Quit the application totally without any issues.
Is this issue still occurring? If so, could you back up the smb4k
configuration files and then delete the config files?
~/.kde/share/apps/smb4k/*
~/.kde/share/config/smb4krc
