Thank you for taking the time to file a bug report.

From your postfix installation logs, I see

mailname is not a fully qualified domain name. Not changing /etc/mailname.
setting destinations: $myhostname, esprimo, localhost.localdomain, localhost

since /etc/amavis/conf.d/05-node_id does check /etc/mailname, which
would be set by postfix in that case, I am wondering if this isn't a
configuration issue (maybe in the postfix setup?).

Can you reproduce this issue in a clean environment? Moreover, would you
mind sharing any custom postfix/amavisd custom configurations you may
have so we can investigate the issue?

Since there is not enough information in your report to begin triage or to
differentiate between a local configuration problem and a bug in Ubuntu, I
am marking this bug as "Incomplete". We would be grateful if you would:
provide a more complete description of the problem, explain why you
believe this is a bug in Ubuntu rather than a problem specific to your
system, and then change the bug status back to "New".

For local configuration issues, you can find assistance here:

** Changed in: amavisd-new (Ubuntu)
       Status: New => Incomplete
