Thank you for the report.
I verified that the commit referenced by Christian indeed seems to fix
the issue. It has been present since version 5.8 of net-snmp, which is
available from Focal onwards. For this reason, I am closing this bug as
Fix Released.
Feel free to reopen it if you think this is still an issue, in which
case we would kindly request that you provide a reproducer as well.
