Public bug reported:

The package originates from Debian repo. Here's its history:
https://tracker.debian.org/pkg/thonny

After being accepted into Debian testing, thonny promptly appeared in
Ubuntu repo as was last there for Groovy.

For some reasons it has not been present in later versions.

I suspect it has to do with thonny having been temporarily and wrongly
removed from Debian repo between 2020-10-24 and 2021-01-06 (due to an
invalid bug report).

How to get thonny back to Ubuntu's repos (at least for upcoming
versions)?

** Affects: thonny (Ubuntu)
