Confirming too. Mike had a good gut feeling about the issue. I (think I) managed to debug and fix this one. Gutsy ships with python 2.5 where cElementTree has been relocated. See http://effbot.org/zone/elementtree.htm "The core ElementTree modules, including cElementTree, have been included in Python 2.5, in the xml.etree package."
With python 2.5 there should be "from xml.etree import cElementTree as ET" instead of "import cElementTree as ET". Patch against pwman3-0.0.6 attached. ** Attachment added: "Fix pwman3 to work with python 2.5" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/11030539/pwman3-0.0.6_cElementTree-python2.5.patch ** Changed in: pwman3 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Fix Committed -- pwman3 is broken under ubuntu 7.10/gutsy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/160523 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
