** Description changed: I have an HP Pavilion 15-eh0050wm laptop running Kubuntu 21.10 and when - I wake it up from sleep, the screen flashes rainbow colours, and the - laptop freezes. It doesn't matter if I suspend it with 'systemctl - suspend', close the lid or through the desktop. The problem only occurs - with kernel version 5.11 and 5.13. I tested it on kernel 5.8 and as far - as I can tell, it wakes up normally. I also tried booting a 21.10 live - USB, but the problem still occurs. + I wake it up from sleep, the screen goes black with only the cursor + showing, and the laptop freezes, only responding to SysRq.
