After validating that I didn't seem to get issues with 20.04.2 I fully replaced 20.04.3 with the previous version.
I can edit the grub config, but would that impact a live disk? If yes, I can try editing grub, loading into the .2 version on a live disk, and play around until I see an issue. Also worth pointing out that I will sometimes see no graphics issues for a while, and other times see graphics issues constantly (which is also in line with the screen connection hypothesis). It's possible the same is true for 20.04.3 -- I may just not have seen the graphical irregularities appear yet. Let me know about the grub config. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1950355 Title: Intense screen flickering, vertical rainbow bars, display problems on Ubuntu 20.04, Lenovo X1 Carbon To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-hwe-5.11/+bug/1950355/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
