miked, the last line in your crash file reads:
Uname: Linux Ubuntu704Tribe5Alt 2.6.22-12-generic #1 SMP Sun Sep 23 18:11:30
GMT 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

Kernel version 2.6.22-12-generic was only used during Gutsy development. The
released version of Gutsy has kernel version 2.6.22-14. Therefore, this seems
to be either an old bug or you were doing something special, that caused the
crash just now.
In both cases we will need more information about what has happened and why you
report the bug now.

Maybe, are you now testing Hardy? I noticed that has got a new apport
version yesterday. Maybe that caused you to report all those old bugs
from Gutsy development? If that's what has happened, you may want to
close all those old bugs again and instead report a bug against apport
for reporting these old bugs?
