Binary package hint: konqueror-kde4
When I try kde4 konqueror with the webkitkde backend, entering any url
in the location bar and hitting <enter> causes multiple progress boxes
to open and floods the screen with them. Apparently each part of a web
page being loaded starts it's own progress box. Once the web page is
fully loaded, all the progress boxes get closed. It makes trying webkit
with konqueror impossible.
I'm using kde4-rc2 konqueror and webkitkde on gutsy from backports.
But, I also tried the livecd from kubuntu of kde4-rc2 and have the same
problem. I have also experienced the same problem with hardy in a
virtualbox with kde4-konqueror and webkitkde installed. All instances
behave the same.
