I installed ubuntu-mate-desktop last night and can confirm Magnus loads at startup in KDE, my usual desktop, even though there is no autostart entry for it. I would look into how to disable that in MATE, but unfortunately that DE is unusable, as outlined in the forum link below (in short, the 3 folders I have load in Caja at startup cause a loop of endlessly loading instances of those folders, whereas in KDE and Gnome I only get 3 folders):
https://ubuntu-mate.community/t/ubuntu-mate-desktop-loads-hundreds-of- folders-after-install-keeps-going/24805/9 Since I can't find any mention of "magnus" in gsettings, I think the easiest way around this is to uninstall this app. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1875441 Title: magnus automatically launched if installed on ubuntu 20.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/magnus/+bug/1875441/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
