After the above testing was done, I closed Totem. I clicked on the DVD-VR icon on desktop. Instead of re-loading Totem and playing the video as it did when the DVD-VR disk was first inserted, the contents of the disk were displayed as files in folders. Right click on the DVD-VR icon brought up a menu, but there is no "play" entry, but there is "open" and "browse folder", both of which do the same thing -- they launch the file browser (Nautilus) and display the contents. The default behavior when a user launches the DVD-VR icon with the mouse should be to play it if the disk is a playable format, which DVD-VR is. As a minimum, there should be a "play" item on the context menu (right click).
