Thanks for the bug report.
First please open the 'Extensions' app and ensure you don't have any
custom extensions enabled. Please also run:
cd ~/.local/share/gnome-shell/
rm -rf extensions
and then log in again. If that doesn't fix the problem then please run
the following command to gather more information:
apport-collect 1951098
** Tags added: focal
** Changed in: gnome-shell (Ubuntu)
