Public bug reported: I installed ntop on Kubuntu Gutsy, used ntop for a few minutes, then uninstalled it. My system is still reporting:
"/etc/cron.daily/logrotate: error: error accessing /var/log/ntop: No such file or directory error: ntop:1 glob failed for /var/log/ntop/*.log run-parts: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate exited with return code 1" in my root daily email reports, and has been doing this for weeks. I traced it down to the ntop file still residing in /etc/logrotate.d after uninstalling ntop. It appears that the ntop removal script in the .deb archive is not removing this file as it should. I'm deleting the file manually, and will report back if this solves the problem. ** Affects: ntop (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- ntop uninstall doesn't remove ntop from the log rotation https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/178195 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
