I was able to replicate this bug.
The fix appears to be to modify a line in the '/usr/sbin/nessus-update-
plugins-gpl' script. The fetch_cmd option should be changed from simply
calling wget to 'fetch_cmd="/usr/bin/wget"' using the absolute path.
Once this change is made, the updates proceed without issue.
