Public bug reported:
After installng Ubuntu 7.10 in VMWare, the screen resolution is
1680x1050, which is much too high. When selecting System-> Preferences
-> Screen resolution and choosing another resolution, it will stay
1680x1050, no matter which option I choose.
When Choosing System-> Administration -> Screen and Graphics, There is
also the possibility to choose another resolution, but also there the
actual resolution stays the same, it will not change.
