Public bug reported:

The command `debchange --increment' will always append 'ubuntu1' to the
revision number.  This leads to unnecessary long version numbers for custom
packages.

Please add an option to stop debchange from doing this and just increment
the version number.  It would be nice if debchange could remember this
somehow, e.g. some entry in the debian/ directory.
