This is actually intentional behaviour, as it vastly reduces the number
of errors introduced for updating changelogs for Ubuntu packages. The
-ubuntuX is introduced when the distributor from lsb_release is Ubuntu.
You can override this on an Ubuntu system with the --distributor
argument to debchange.
